Spring break 2017 is officially underway and there is a new crop of hot spots and ways college students are having fun.

Las Vegas is fast becoming the favorite destination of spring breakers as it lands at No. 2 in a recent Allianz insurance study. Inside Edition's cameras spotted an army of security guards keeping an eye on the revelers in the city.
At the Hard Rock Hotel, which is ranked by the Travel Channel as one of the top ten pools in the world, Director of Nightlife, Joe Bravo, told Inside Edition: “Our job is to make sure they have fun and go home safe with a story to tell.”
One spring breaker at Rehab told Inside Edition: “We feel safe here. We're not going to go out of the country.”
Phoenix is third on the Allianz list, Ft. Lauderdale is No. 4 and Los Angeles rounds out the top five.
According to Allianz, the No. 1 spot for spring breakers in 2017 is Orlando. Cancun and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, are still the top foreign destinations.
