Could Romance Be Blossoming On Dancing With the Stars? Couple Turns Heads with Steamy Routine
Professional bull rider Bonner Bolton and his dance partner Sharna Burgess burst out onto the scene with a cha-cha danced to Luke Bryan's "Move."
The sizzling chemistry between two contenders on Dancing With the Stars was hard to miss in the season opener, leading many to wonder: Could there already be a romance blossoming off the dance floor?
Professional bull rider Bonner Bolton and his dance partner Sharna Burgess burst out onto the scene with a cha-cha danced to Luke Bryan’s “Move.”
Bolton was paralyzed from the neck down for 24 hours after suffering a broken neck in a bull riding accident last year, but that devastating injury hasn’t stopped him from working hard to come out blazing for the first week of the show’s 24th season.
Though the dance only scored 22 out of 40 among the judges, the pair’s chemistry was clear from the get-go.
Meanwhile, Mr. T has already become an audience favorite and was praised after busting a move to the theme song of his ‘80s series "The A Team" with partner Kym Herjavec—but the dance just earned him 20 out of 40.
Queen of the cuchi cuchi Charo exploded with energy as she and her partner Keo Motsepe danced a salsa that netted a 21 out of 40.
And Chris Kattan—who has also suffered a broken neck in his lifetime—channeled his inner Doug Butabi, performing to "What is Love," the head-nodding hit made a club classic in his and Will Ferrell’s Saturday Night Live sketch-turned-movie, A Night at the Roxbury.
But everyone agreed the two dancers to watch this season are the Olympians—Nancy Kerrigan and Simone Biles.
While Kerrigan was praised for her Viennese waltz, Biles got the top score of the night for a dance the experts called exquisite.
