Father Facing Potential Charges After Driving Drunk With 5 Kids in the Car: Cops

Bawi Lian, 39, reportedly had kids in his car ages 16, 13, 9, 5 and 2 when Indianapolis Police pulled him over.
An Indiana dad faces possible DUI charges and related counts of neglect and endangerment after he allegedly drove drunk with his five children in the car.
Bawi Lian, 39, was pulled over Sunday after cops say his vehicle hit a curb then paused at a traffic light for about 20 seconds despite it turning from red to green.

Inside the car, police found five children, ages 16, 13, 9, 5 and 2.
A warrant was issued for a blood test, the results for which are pending, as are multiple charges against Lian, according to a report.
Those potential charges include operating a vehicle while intoxicated along with intoxicated endangerment, and five counts each of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a passenger under 18 years old and neglect of a dependent.
Lian has since been released on $245.00 cash bond.

According to court records available online, a no contact order has also been issued in the case, the details of which were not immediately available.
Lian is due in court Wednesday for an initial appearance.
