Dancing with the Stars cast member Karina Smirnoff bares it all in the new issue of Playboy magazine. INSIDE EDITION caught up with the dancer backstage.
Dancing with the Stars''s Karina Smirnoff wore a tiny sheer bodysuit and thigh-high stockings on the cover of the new issue of Playboy.
Inside the magazine, she posed as a sexy ballerina, in nothing more than toe shoes and red ribbons. It's the first time in the show's history that a professional dancer has stripped for the magazine.
Backstage at this week's show, Smirnoff who's earned high scores with dancing partner Ralph Macchio, dodged a question about the Playboy spread.
"It's great, but I'm more happy that we did a great waltz," she said.
But Girl Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson, who appeared on the cover of Playboy last year, told INSIDE EDITION she supports Smirnoff's decision.
"It's beautiful, it takes a really strong woman to do what she did. And it takes a very proud woman," said Wilkinson.
It is not the first time that Smirnoff has posed provocatively for a magazine. A behind-the-scenes video captured her shoot for TV Guide in 2009.
"She's not afraid to show her body. She is the bad girl of the show. So I don't think it's a big surprise that she's baring all in Playboy," said TV Guide's article editor Bruce Fretts.
Back on Dancing with the Stars, boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard was sent home.
"My experience has been a phenomenal one," Leonard told INSIDE EDITION backstage.
