Cops Called to 'DWTS' Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy's Home To Investigate Intruder
The confrontation forced the dancing pro to miss a "Good Morning America" interview Tuesday morning.
It was high drama for Dancing with the Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and fiancée Peta Murgatroyd as the couple claims they confronted an intruder at their Hollywood Hills home.
“Early Tuesday morning, there was a trespasser who attempted to break into our home. The LAPD responded and my family and I are all ok,” he told Inside Edition.
His dancing partner, former Glee star Heather Morris, was left to explain what happened after he was a no-show for his interview with Good Morning America following their dismissal from the show Monday night.
“They had some sort of run-in with some man near their house trying to break in," she said. "The police were there. They took care of it."

He reportedly called 911 at 2 a.m. to report a trespasser at his home, but the story then takes a mysterious turn. The LAPD couldn’t find the trespasser. Since no criminal report was filed, they are calling it a civil dispute.
The scare comes three months after the couple had a baby boy named Shai.
