'Morning Joe' Hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski Engaged

There are wedding bells on MSNBC's Morning Joe as hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski are reportedly engaged.

The front page of Thursday's New York Post proclaims: "Morning Glow — Joe & Mika Engaged."

While on camera Thursday, Brzezinski held up a copy of the New York Post, seemingly ignoring the paper's exclusive story of their engagement in the upper left hand corner.

As the paper was held, her new ring shined off the studio lights and into the homes of viewers.

Despite the fact that neither host acknowledged the engagement on air, an MSNBC spokeswoman confirmed the news to People magazine.

A source told The Post’s Page Six that Scarborough popped the question during a recent vacation to France and Monaco where they were celebrating her 50th birthday.

"Joe got down on one knee and proposed old-fashioned-style with a ring. Of course, Mika accepted. They came back from the trip on cloud nine," a source told the Post. "There are no wedding plans as of yet, they are just telling their families the happy news."

Wall Street financier Steve Rattner, who was a guest on Morning Joe Thursday, tried to offer his congratulations, but the couple kept mum about the news and went on with the show.
