One celebrity among the bevy of stars on the MTV Movie & TV Awards red carpet is slamming critics who panned her choice of attire for the event.

This Is Us actress Chrissy Metz, 36, rocked a crimson, knee-length latex dress that shined in the bright lights, leading some viewers to go on social media rants mocking her appearance.

Following the show, Metz hit back at the body shamers on Twitter, saying: “For the record, I wear what I want, when I want. News flash it's my body."

This Is Us was nominated multiple times Sunday night, and the show took home an award in the “Tearjerker” category.
