Woman Arrested After Letting Her 8-Year-Old Drive While She Was Drunk: Police
The infraction is reportedly her third DUI.
A mother was arrested after she allegedly drove drunk with her 8-year-old steering the car, according to reports.
Carrie L. Bernard, 37, of Milwaukee, was reportedly spotted with her son on her lap by officers as she was pulling onto Highway 145, reports said.

Officers from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s office pulled the mom over and reportedly said she was visibly impaired and failed sobriety tests.
Her son cried to officers saying he “didn’t want to go to jail,” according to Patch.com.
Bernard has been arrested for DUI twice previously, according to reports.
Bernard was charged with DUI — third offense, with a minor under 16 years of age in the vehicle, among other charges.
The child was reportedly turned over to Child Protective Services.
