Illegal Immigrant Calls 911 - and Asks to Be Deported
He was arrested after the call.
While some immigrants are fighting to stay in the country, others just want to go home.
Cesar Sanchez, an illegal immigrant from Guatemala, called 911 in Florida on Tuesday to tell police he wanted to be deported.
Police said Sanchez, 29, called police in Naples and told the operator he wanted to be sent back. He added that he was not feeling well.
"It’s not an emergency — I just want to be deported," Sanchez can be heard saying in the 911 call released by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. “I want to go to Guatemala."
Sanchez also told the operator he hadn’t been drinking.
