George Clooney's Twins Look Like Both Parents, Grandfather Says: 'They Are Absolutely Gorgeous'
Nick Clooney says he was introduced to his son's newborns via Skype.
No one is more excited about the arrival of the Clooney twins than George’s dad, Nick.
"They are absolutely gorgeous," he told Inside Edition.
Two hours after George and Amal Clooney welcomed the twins in England, they Skyped with the Ocean’s 11 actor's parents in Kentucky.
"They were active and moving around,” Nick Clooney recalled. “They both look like combos of their parents."
The Clooneys bucked the Hollywood trend of unique names for children, instead picking a more traditional Ella and Alexander.
The proud grandfather says he “certainly” loves the names.
Amal's mother, Baria, was spotted shopping for the twins in England. She picked out organic cotton onesies — grey with bears and mint with rabbits.
Photos of the luxury hospital room where Amal recovered from the delivery at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London have surfaced.
The suite has a custom-made bed and chic seating area for guests, and costs over $11,000 a night.
