Within hours of capturing their third NBA crown, the team unanimously voted not to visit the White House, according to a report.

The decision would be in direct contrast with the team's 2015 win, after which they proudly posed alongside then-President Obama.

Following the report the team said in a statement that any decision not to visit the president would be premature, since they have not yet been invited to the White House.

"Today is all about celebrating our championship," they said. “We have not received an invitation to the White House, but will make those decisions when and if necessary."

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr as well as star player Steph Curry and teammate David West have all spoken out against Donald Trump since the election.
