Woman Trapped at Top of London High-Rise Unaccounted For After Recording Desperate Plea for Help
She had opened her door to fellow residents with no way out.
A woman trapped on the top floor of the burning building posted a video showing intense smoke as she pleads for assistance. The mother of two also opened her door to fellow residents, who join her in the apartment.
She is among the many residents still unaccounted for.
Meanwhile, an emotional Adele attended a vigil for victims of the London inferno Wednesday night.
The singer was photographed and filmed hugging mourners.
The "Hello" singer was praised on social media for the appearance, which was apparently unannounced.
“The fact Adele went to Grenfell Tower to try & help & didn't make any fuss or court any publicity around it shows how down to earth she is,” one fan wrote.
“The fact that Adele has gone to Grenfell tower and not said a word about it just proves how amazingly sincere she is,” said another.
Singer Rita Ora also appeared in the area on Wednesday afternoon to lay flowers at a makeshift memorial for the victims.
