Boy, 4, Shot in The Head in Road Rage Incident: Cops
Miraculously, the boy is expected to survive.
A little boy is recovering after being shot in what police are characterizing as a road rage incident.
Cleveland cops say the 4-year-old was in his mother's car around midnight Monday when she honked her vehicle's horn at another car as she attempted to pass it.
The mother, who has not been identified, told cops the vehicle followed her onto the highway and fired shots at her car.
According to reports, the little boy was struck in the head.
The boy was rushed to an area hospital, where he underwent surgery to remove shrapnel from his head.
Miraculously, officials said the bullet did not enter the boy's brain.
Cleveland Police Department is now looking for two gunmen who the mother said were behind the wheel of a white, 4-door Pontiac.
However, no arrests had been made as of Monday afternoon.
Anyone with information is asked to call Cleveland police at (216) 621-1234.
