11-Year-Old Boy Stuns With His Rendition of 'Let it Go' at Idina Menzel Concert
"The audience went crazy," one concert-goer said.
An 11-year-old stole the show — and Idina Menzel's heart — after he was plucked out of the audience at her Texas concert to sing the hit song “Let It Go.”
Luke Chacko volunteered to sing during the concert in Grand Prairie last week.
He blew Menzel and the audience away as he belted out the Frozen song.
“We were all looking at each other, just stunned," actor Jacob Rivera-Sanchez, who recorded the moment, told InsideEdition.com. "We knew he would sing the song but we didn’t know he would sing the song this well."
Menzel was excited that there was a little boy was at her concert, she said in the video.
“It was really cool to be able to see her point him out and give him a moment in the spotlight because it was something that was 'unusual,'” Rivera-Sanchez said.
Rivera-Sanchez commended Chacko’s confidence and vocal power at such a young age.
Once Menzel realized just how good Chacko’s chops were, she called for an encore. Chacko even made sure to take a bow after his performance.
The video of the breathtaking performance has since gone viral.
“The audience went crazy for him. We were so excited for him” Rivera-Sanchez said. “I can surely say there’s something in the future for this kid.”
Chacko also has a YouTube channel where he sings covers.
