Student, 18, Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Teacher's Life on Facebook: Cops

Desiree Zio is charged with making written threats to kill or do bodily harm.

A Florida student is facing serious charges after cops say she threatened to kill her teacher on social media.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office said in a press release this week that 18-year-old Desiree Zio posted on the River Ridge High School teacher's Facebook her intent to find and fatally stab her.

Police say Zio, a former student at River Ridge, admitted to the threat. 

Zio now attends Marchman Technical College in New Port Richey, according to reports.

She's charged with making a written threat to kill or do bodily harm.
