4-Year-Old Allegedly Duct Taped to Chair While at Day Care, Photo Posted to Snapchat

The day care never documented the alleged incident.

A Missouri mother is outraged after a photo that appeared on Snapchat showed her 4-year-old daughter bound to a chair with duct tape at her day care.

Elysha Brooks said her daughter, who she did not wish to identify, was at Little Learners in Florissant when one of the girl’s teachers duct-taped her to a chair and posted the image to the photo-sharing app.

The photo was captioned, "Thought I was playing."

Brooks, who told InsideEdition.com that she has hired an attorney, said the incident allegedly happened in March and no one at the day care ever notified her of the incident.

The mother told KFVS that she learned of the photo because someone from the Department of Children and Family Services sent it to her.

“[You] can't trust nobody with your child,” Brooks told InsideEdition.com.

Brooks also noted that the day care also didn’t document another incident when her daughter allegedly got a rock lodged in her eardrum while at the facility.

Little Learners did not respond to a request for comment by InsideEdition.com.

The Department of Children and Family Services is currently investigating the incident and no charges have been filed, according to reports.
