Woman Busted for Sexual Assault of 10-Year-Old Boy After Allegedly Slipping Drug in Slushy
Tara Gotovnik was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child and delivery of controlled substance.
A Wisconsin woman has been arrested for drugging and molesting a 10-year-old boy she allegedly sexually assaulted after slipping Ambien in his slushy, police said.
The child’s father told police he picked up his son on Aug. 7 from the home of Tara Gotovnik, 35, who the little boy said put sleeping pills in his slushy, according to a criminal complaint obtained by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The boy said Gotovnik undressed him, told him to perform a sex act on her and brought out sex toys, one of which she used on him, the complaint said.
Later, Gotovnik allegedly told the boy they could “go online and make money for doing it,” authorities said.
In another incident the boy described to police, Gotovnik allegedly made him take a pill that caused him to become dizzy, throw up and urinate on himself.
Police said the child told his father he never wanted to go back to Gotovnik’s home again.
Investigators searching Gotovnik’s Greendale home said they found sex toys that matched the boy’s description, as well as pill containers, including one for sleeping pills.
When police told Gotovnik about the sexual assault allegations, she reportedly said: “I don’t remember anything from that night.”
She denied the sexual assault allegation, but reportedly told police she gave the boy an Ambien on two separate occasions.
Gotovnik was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child and delivery of controlled substance.
She remained in custody at the Milwaukee County Jail on $15,000 bail Wednesday and is due in court on Sept. 6.
