Duo Charged With Killing 2 Victims Whose Bodies Were Found in Tubs of Chemicals

Tiffanie Pierce, 23, and Augustus Standingrock, 26, were arrested last week after bodies were found in plastic tubs in her basement, cops say.

Two Montana residents have been arrested after the grim discovery of two bodies in a basement, where cops say they were left to decompose in chemicals.

Tiffanie Pierce, 23, and Augustus Standingrock, 26, were arrested last week after the bodies were allegedly found in plastic tubs in her Missoula basement in a scene reminiscent of the AMC series Breaking Bad.

Pierce's roommate said he was awakened the night of the alleged murder by a woman's screams, according to police. He said he then found the suspects in the bathroom washing blood off themselves.

Pierce allegedly then told the roommate that there was a dead woman in the basement. Prosecutors allege Pierce would later tell the roommate that she "killed a couple people last night."

Pierce reportedly told her roommate that Standingrock brought a couple of people over and that he took them to the basement and attacked one as she allegedly attacked the other, according to the roommate.

Both victims died from stab wounds, officials said.
