Piano Player Returns to Flooded Home to Play a Touching Tune
The piano in Aric Harding's Texas home still works, despite the flood.
Hurricane Harvey can't stop the music.
A touching video shows Aric Harding sitting at his piano inside his dark, flooded home in Houston.
In knee-high water and amid floating debris, Harding couldn't resist playing the gentle, uplifting tune.
Harding had returned to the home to collect some belongings. He managed to salvage some of his children's favorite stuffed animals and games to keep them entertained, he wrote on Instagram.
"I think it's all finally sinking in a little," he wrote. "What we used to have going as a city is gone. I really think God is going to do something completely new here. I am excited to see the new beauty in the suffering."
