Arnold's Mistress Breaks Her Silence

Patty Baena, the woman who had a child with Arnold Schwarzenegger, has come forward to share her side of the story. INSIDE EDITION has more.
The maid at the center of the Arnold Schwarzenegger scandal finally broke her silence. For the first time, Mildred Patricia Baena is coming forward, along with her son with Schwarzenegger, Joseph.
Baena, who has been in hiding since the scandal came to light, gave her first interview to Hello magazine. She discussed the tender moment when Maria Shriver first learned that her husband was the father of Baena's child.
"Last summer, I brought Joseph over to the house. Until then, he hadn't been around very much. After that, people in the house started whispering about how much they looked like each other," Baena said.
Apparently, Shriver also noticed the strong resemblance between the boy and her husband.
"Maria would ask if I needed to talk to her, and I kept saying no. Finally, she asked point blank. Maria asked me directly if Joseph was Arnold's son, and I just broke down. I dropped to my knees and I was crying, saying that yes he was, and I was so sorry," Baena recalled.
After Baena confessed, she said that Shriver didn't respond with rage, but with remarkable dignity.
"She was so strong. She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes two," she said.
In the candid interview, Baena also opened up about her relationship with the Terminator star. She said that they were only intimate a few times.
"At the time, I thought I loved him. I admired him and had such great respect for him," Baena said.
Just last year, Joseph was told that Schwarzenegger was his father. Baena said he had a one word reaction: "cool!"
Now, he's looking forward to building a relationship with the former governor of California.
INSIDE EDITION'S Jim Moret sat down with Baena's nephew, Charlie Pena, just as the interview hit the internet.
"She can't wait to get back to her immediate family, really sit down and continue on with their lives," Pena said.
Despite all of the drama, Baena harbors no ill-will towards Shriver or Schwarzenegger.
"I have so much love and respect for Maria...[Arnold's] a good man and I know he's suffering too. He loves Maria. I hope with time they work things out," Baena said.
