Kim Kardashian's weekend nuptials to NBA star Kris Humphries is the wedding event of the summer.

It's costing Kim a reported $500,000, but like everything she touches, the wedding is pure gold.

The Hollywood Reporter says she's getting a $1.5 million paycheck from selling the official wedding photos.

And Kim's two-night wedding special on E! will bring in over $13 million in advertising revenue.

Meanwhile, security is extremely tight at the palatial villa in Santa Barbara where 500 guests will watch Kim and Kris say "I do."

There were spotted dozens of security guards all over the 20-acre estate to keep prying eyes away from the preparations for Kim's big day.
