Kim Kardashian Marries Kris Humphries at Lavish Wedding
Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries tied the knot this weekend and over 400 guests were in attendance to watch the reality star marry her beau at Hollywood's wedding of the year! INSIDE EDITION has the details.
The first video of newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries was shot as they left the Four Seasons hotel in Montecito, California, the day after their lavish wedding.
The reality star walked down the aisle 30 minutes late, and looked so stunning that the 440 guests broke into applause.
Humphries was overheard saying, "I'm nervous."
Kim wore a strapless Vera Wang gown with a full tulle skirt and Chantilly lace. Her veil was literally dripping with diamonds. Kim said her classic look was partially inspired by the royal wedding.
The color theme was black and white, and every guest was asked to choose their look accordingly. Eva Longoria wore black. Lindsay Lohan's plunging gown left little to the imagination. Her dress is the white version of the green Temperley gown that Pippa Middleton wore to her sister's wedding reception.
Now, headlines like, "Did Lindsay Lohan try to upstage Kim Kardashian at her own wedding?" are appearing everywhere.
But if anyone upstaged the bride, it was her adorable little nephew Mason, who took three tries to make it down the aisle as ring bearer.
For dinner, guests chose between pasta and roasted chicken, all prepared by the famous chef Wolfgang Puck.
The wedding was a beautiful affair, but there was one hitch. Neighbors in exclusive Montecito called 911 to complain about the noise level. The police came and ordered the DJ to shut down at midnight.
"Kim took the news ok and seemed relaxed about it," a source told the New York Post. "But her sister Khloe was pretty upset and making a bit of a scene."
The snag didn't stop guests from partying until 2 a.m. Ryan Seacrest, who left with girlfriend Julianne Hough, tweeted, "Beautiful...Kim looked regal, a perfect night."
The wedding was held at the sprawling estate owned by the Chairman of Google, Eric Schmidt. But costs for the multi-million dollar wedding were kept way down in exchange for publicity. Kim wore three $20,000 gowns by Vera Wang, compliments of the designer. The $15,000 10-tier cake was also free.
As for the wedding favors, Kim handed out her own products. Kathie Lee Gifford, who was a guest, showed off her gift bag on the Today show.
Kim is even said to be making $17.9 million from her big day, including a reported $15 million from E!, which will air specials on the wedding in October, and a reported $1.5 million from People for the exclusive photo rights.
"These aren't just wedding vows for Kim Kardashian. This is also another opportunity to really line her pockets and be able to continue to brand herself," explains The Hollywood Reporter's Leslie Bruce.
