A 3-year-old girl is the sole survivor of a devastating plane crash that killed six adults, authorities said. Her family was en route to visit the toddler's grandmother.
The twin-engine passenger plane dropped off radar Wednesday as it tried to land in Russia's Far Eastern Khabarovsk region, TASS reported.

Two crew members were among the dead, officials said.
The child was pulled from the wreckage and flown to a hospital, where she was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

Pilot error and a technical malfunction are both being looked into as the cause of the crash, an unnamed aviation official, told TASS.

The 19-seat LET L-410 Turbolet is a Czech-made aircraft operated by Khabarovsk Airlines.
