4 Models Are Denied Chinese Visas Ahead of Famed Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

It's not clear why China has refused to issue visas to the models.

Some models will not be able to appear in the famed Victoria's Secret fashion show due to visa troubles.

The annual extravaganza featuring Angels like Karlie Kloss, as well as Bella and Gigi Hadid, is set to tape Monday in Shanghai, China, but the show has become a nightmare for four of the models

Irina Sharipova, Kate Grigorieva, Julia Belyakova, and Dasha Khlystun have all reportedly been denied Chinese visas, barring them from participating in this year's show.

An Instagram user posted a screen grab of a conversation with Khlystun, who appeared to confirm the news that she would not be walking in the show.

“Hello love! Is it true that you are not going to walk in the show?” the person asked in a written message to the model.

“Hey, yes, it's true,” Khlystun wrote back.

All four of the models are from Russia or the Ukraine, but it's still unclear why China wouldn't issue their visas.

The show must go on, but perhaps without four gorgeous models.
