Tim Tebow's First Press Conference as a New York Jet

Tim Tebow-mania hit the Big Apple after he was signed to the New York Jets, now the press and fans have hit fever pitch with "Gang Green's" new signing. INSIDE EDITION has all the details on the new New Yorker.

Tim Tebow-mania officially hit the Big Apple on Monday. Tebow's first press conference since signing with the New York Jets got huge attention and was carried live on all the cable news channels.

"It is such an honor to be here. I am so excited to be a Jet," said Tebow.

Meanwhile, America's most popular athlete got to know his new home. He took in the long-running hit musical Wicked and ate dinner at an Italian restaurant.

Tebow said he didn't know why people make his deep Christian faith such a big deal.

"If people are still talking about my prayer or my faith, that is pretty cool," said Tebow.
If there's any doubt about this guy's popularity, the world famous Carnegie Deli just named a sandwich after Tebow. It's made with pastrami, roast beef, corned beef, American cheese, lettuce and tomato. The sandwich is served on white bread, no surprise, with mayo.
New York may already be in love with Tebow. But what can he do to keep the notoriously fickle town in his corner? INSIDE EDITION asked image consultant and founder of Lab Media Group, Lynn Brodsky for her advice.

"He is really going to be under a microscope. He needs to be careful where he is seen. Everyone is going to be watching his every move," said Brodsky.
