Illness Doesn't Keep Ryan Seacrest From Hosting Duties

Ryan Seacrest was so sick with a stomach bug that he nearly missed hosting American Idol for the first time in his 11 seasons as host. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
There was concern from the American Idol judges for host Ryan Seacrest.
Jennifer Lopez asked, "You ok, baby?"
Randy Jackson asked, "You all right?"
Seacrest was almost a no-show for the first time in the show's 11 seasons because of a bad stomach bug. He skipped the rehearsals earlier in the day and was even hooked up to an I.V.
Seacrest did forego his usual tie and looked a little puffy, sitting or leaning when he could. He made no reference to his illness on the live broadcast, and his sense of humor was intact. He teased his girlfriend, actress Julianne Hough, who was backstage.
Hough later tweeted: "I am so proud and inspired by my man @RyanSeacrest. Nothing can and ever will stop you from delivering the very best Even at your weakest! :)"
