George Clooney Denies Reports That He Split From His Girlfriend

Is the world's most famous bachelor really back on the market?

Representatives for George Clooney are denying reports that he's split from his girlfriend of nine months, Italian television personality Elisabetta Canalis. Just four weeks ago the couple walked the red carpet arm-in-arm at the Oscars®.

But there has been talk the 48-year-old star reportedly didn't care for Canalis's partying lifestyle, and they were calling it quits.

It would be just the latest in a string of breakups for the world's leading bachelor, who continues to swear he'll never get married.

Before Canalis, he dated Las Vegas cocktail waitress Sarah Larson, but they split as rumors swirled she had finally convinced Clooney to settle down. 

As for the split with his current girlfriend, Clooney says, "The story is made up."
