The Emmy® Nominations Are In!

The nominations for the 2012 Emmy Awards were announced and INSIDE EDITION was on the scene to see who made the list this year.
The Emmy® nominations were announced on Thursday morning and one of the celebrity presenters decided to be creative with his wardrobe.
Jimmy Kimmel, in his pajamas, got the call in the middle of the night to present the Emmy® nominations with Kerry Washington.
Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation was supposed to co-host, but thunderstorms in New York City forced the cancellation of his flight to Los Angeles, so Kimmel stepped in to save the day.
Kimmel told INSIDE EDITION, "I'm wearing my pajamas, which have been such a big hit, I'm thinking of wearing them to the Emmys®."
Kimmel is glad he wasn't embarrassed when his show was nominated for "Outstanding Variety Series."
But there was no surprise which show got the most nominations. Mad Men received 17 Emmy® nominations.
The British series, Downton Abbey, and the miniseries, Hatfield's and McCoy's, starring Kevin Costner, both tied for second with 16 nominations.
Modern Family, with sexy Sofia Vergara is the most nominated sitcom with 14.
But there were some snubs too, INSIDE EDITION spoke with TV Guide's Rob Moynihan.
Moynihan said, "No American Idol, coming off a pretty big season too that was a big surprise."
But these Emmy® nominations are certain to be remembered for Jimmy Kimmel's pj's.
