Sherman Hemsley Dead at 74

Hollywood has lost another veteran actor. TV sitcom star Sherman Hemsley has passed away. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Jeffersons star Sherman Hemsley is dead. The 74-year-old actor passed away from natural causes at his home in El Paso, Texas.
Hemsley became famous as lovable George Jefferson in the 70's sitcom All In The Family.
The spinoff, The Jeffersons made him a household name.
Back in 2000, Hemsley was one of several cast members INSIDE EDITION brought together for a cross-country conference call reunion.
Hemsley's last appearance with co-star Isabelle Sanford, who played his wife, Weezy, was at a TV Land special where they recieved an award for their role in television history.
