Cheerleader Takes a Scary Tumble

An NBA cheerleader was carted of the floor during a game after falling in the middle of a stunt. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
It brought the game to a dead halt.
There was real concern as 31-year-old cheerleader Jamie Woode of the Orlando Magic lost her balance and fell off a fellow cheerleader's shoulders, hitting the floor hard.
Cheerleading is getting to be a dangerous sport as the moves have become more elaborate. YouTube is filled with young people getting seriously injured.
As Woode was taken off the court, there was a huge sigh of relief when she gave a promising sign by waving from her stretcher. She got a round of applause from fans and players at the game between the Magic and the New York Knicks.
Woode suffered three vertebrae fractures, and she broke a rib. Thankfully, there are no signs of neurological damage, and she is expected to make a full recovery.
