First Lady Fashion Dazzles the Nation

Michelle Obama's fashion choice for the 2013 Presidential Inauguration gets high marks and has another designer scrambling to take a flood of calls from newfound fans. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

The first lady is getting high marks for her inaugural style.

Michelle Obama wore a custom-made navy blue coat dress designed by Thom Browne.  The fabric was silk jacquard, traditionally used for men's neckties. Beneath the coat, she wore a grey a-line dress.

Browne, who was in Paris on Monday called it an "Amazing and humbling experience."

Her swearing in coat-dress was just one of the dazzling outfits the first lady wore during the inaugural festivities.

The first daughters were also delightful.

11-year-old Sasha wore a purple coat and matching striped dress by Kate Spade. 14-year-old Malia looked all-grown-up in a plum colored coat and dress by J.Crew.

We found Malia's coat on  It's called the "lady day coat." Malia's coat was purchased straight off-the-rack at JCrew. It was customized for her by changing the buttons.

Over the weekend, Sasha and Malia looked cool and casual in short skirts and boots at a kids' inaugural concert.  Their mother looked effortlessly chic showing off her edgy new hairstyle.   

The president even poked fun at his wife for stealing the spotlight with her new do.

President Obama said, "I love Michelle Obama! And let me address the biggest news event going on... I love her new bangs!"

It's inaugural style, sure to go down in fashion history.
