Oscar® Frenzy Heats Up

INSIDE EDITION goes behind-the-scenes of preparations for the 85th Academy Awards, as the producers promise this will be one memorable show.
The 85th Academy Awards® are just days away and at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood there's a frenzy of last minute activity.
The red carpet is already rolled out and covered in plastic to keep it pristine until Sunday.
INSIDE EDITION's Jim Moret got access to the Architectural Digest Greenroom backstage at the Dolby Theater where presenters will be hanging out before giving out the big awards and where the winners will be coming after they've won the trophy. To recreate the room in your own home it would cost well over $1 million!
Moret told Greenroom designer Madeline Stuart, "It feels like you're in somebody's very beautiful, almost art deco home."
"We really wanted it to feel like a home, but also a bit clubby," said Stuart.
There's a bar seating area and a cigar lounge where the stars can smoke a few to celebrate.
A first look at the stage reveals over 100,000 Swarovski crystals.
And the producers of the Oscar® telecast revealed to INSIDE EDITION they have a big surprise. Instead of ending with a Best Picture award, host Seth MacFarlane will do a closing number with Kristin Chenoweth.
Producer Craig Zadan told INSIDE EDITION, "You get to the end, you do Best Picture and then the host goes, "Ok thank you. We're out of time blah blah blah. And we thought that's no way to end the show."
