Cate Edwards Embraces Her Half-Sister

Cate Edwards is speaking out for the first time about her little half-sister, Quinn.

She was asked, “Are you able to have any kind of relationship with Quinn?

Cate replied, “Well, yeah. She's my sister. She's really a sweet, innocent little girl.”

Little Frances Quinn is the five-year-old daughter of John Edwards and his former mistress, Rielle Hunter.

Cate told the Today show that she loves her as much as any of her siblings.

Cate said, “Yes, I certainly think of her as a part of my family.”

She says she long ago forgave her father for his infidelity and believes her mother, the late Elizabeth Edwards, did too. She says Quinn is entitled to be a part of her family.
