Sofia Vergara is opening up about her past battle with thyroid cancer.
The 40-year-old Modern Family actress says she's having her eggs frozen so one day she can use a surrogate to have a baby with fiance, Nick Loeb.
She tells the June issue of Cosmopolitan magazine: "I will have to use a surrogate, because I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation."
TV's highest paid actress looked stunning in her covershoot for the magazine, wearing colorful tank tops and skirts. That issue of Cosmo hits stands May 7th.
