Randy Jackson Leaving "American Idol"

After 12 seasons, Randy Jackson is leaving American Idol, but it seems Ryan Seacrest had no idea. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It's official—Randy Jackson is leaving American Idol and Ryan Seacrest apparently wasn't told about it.
There was a tense moment from Thursday night's broadcast.
Seacrest said, "A little later on, we'll be revealing who will be leaving our show.”
Jackson laughed and Seacrest said, "Maybe a heads-up?"
There was nervous laughter from Jackson, who's been with the show since it started. Earlier he issued a statement saying: "Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on 'American Idol' I have decided it is time to leave after this season."
Jackson's announcement comes following a report that Fox has ordered a massive overhaul, letting all the judges go at the end of the season.
On Seacrest's E! show, Nicki Minaj ducked the big question.
Seacrest asked, "Would you want to come back and do it again for another season?"
She said, "That's the million dollar question!"
