Gabby Giffords Shoots Targets At Gun Range

One of the nation's most high-profile gun control advocates, former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, was seen at a firing range shooting for the first time since a gunman opened fire on her and others at a shopping center. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It’s a surprising sight, Gabby Giffords shooting a gun.
The former Congresswoman visited a Las Vegas shooting range with her husband, ex-astronaut Mark Kelly. Giffords says she's is a proud gun owner but has not shot a weapon since the attempt on her life in the 2011 shooting rampage that left six others dead and Giffords grievously wounded.
She released this statement: "Some might consider me an unlikely advocate for gun rights because I sustained terrible injuries in a violent shooting, but I am a patriot, and I believe the right to bear arms is a definitive part of our American heritage."
She is pushing for stricter background checks for people buying guns.
