Aisha Tyler Pens Book About Awkward Years

The Talk's Aisha Tyler has written a new book about growing up a nerdy kid. INSIDE EDITION sat down with Tyler to see what she has to say.
She's one of the hosts of the daytime show, The Talk.
Gorgeous Aisha Tyler, who once played David Schwimmer's love interest on Friends, says she had a few awkward years growing up.
Tyler told INSIDE EDITION, "I was a really nerdy kid. I feel like I was a nerd until maybe 23."
Now, she has a new book called Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales Of Epic Humiliation. In it she writes about her rise to fame, including her start as a stand up comic.
"The whole book is about confronting your fears and realizing that doing the thing that scares you the most takes all of its power away. It makes you tough," said Tyler.
