Parents Lose Cancer Stricken Son Days After Their Wedding

The parents of Logan Stevenson are grieving following the passing of their son which comes days after rushing their nuptials to make sure cancer stricken Logan could be his father's best man. INSIDE EDITION has the story.

Little Logan Stevenson was the two-year-old whose parents made him the best man at their wedding, knowing he didn't have long to live.

Logan touched hearts around the world as he snoozed his way through his parents' vows at a backyard ceremony in Jeannette, Pennsylvania, last Saturday.

And now, heartbreaking news, just two days after the wedding, Logan died in his mother's arms.

A heartbroken Christine Swidorsky broke the news on her Facebook page: "I'm so sad, upset and I’m in disbelief. He is with angels and he's in no more pain, no more sickness, no more hospitals...God bless Logan. I'll c u in my dreams my son."

Logan had been suffering from leukemia and a rare disease called Fanconi Anemia. He underwent a stem cell treatment, but doctors said there was nothing more they could do. This is why it was important for Christine and Sean Stevenson to make their ailing son part of the most important day of their lives.

Now, many are sharing their condolences online for the little boy who fought so hard to live.

One person said, "Too sad for words."

Another commented, "Sweet dreams little man, no more suffering for you."
