The latest cast of Dancing with the Stars was revealed and, as always, many surprises were made to the line-up, including cancer stricken Valerie Harper. INSIDE EDITION has the scoop.
It was time to reveal the new cast of Dancing with the Stars!
The shows hosts, Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet made the big announcement Wednesday on Good Morning America.
First out was Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, now a redhead, and a lot thinner.

She said, "I just feel like I’ve been challenging myself a lot this past year, becoming a mom, losing 50 pounds, so this is just another thing, I’m going to be like, I did that."
And here's a big surprise, Valerie Harper will join the cast. The 74-year-old Harper is competing, despite being diagnosed earlier this year with terminal brain cancer.”
INSIDE EDITION’s Megan Alexander asked her, "Why did you decide to do this?"
She said, "It was my husband Tony's urging. He said, ‘Valerie the doctors have given you carte blanche to exercise, so you can't get out of it for that.’ And I felt I was too heavy. And I felt like I don't dance the way I used to. I look at it and hate how I dance, and he said, ‘Too bad, you have cancer, but there are a lot of people out there with much worse lives than you, so get into this!’"
One beauty is no stranger to dancing.
Former Saved by the Bell actress Elizabeth Berkley went on to star in the 1995 movie, Showgirls, where she showed off some sexy moves. She'll be the one to beat.
Alexander asked, "These Saved by the Bell fans, they're going to come out for you!"
She replied, "I hope so! They are die hard fans and I’m grateful."
There's something for everyone in this season's new cast.
Glee star Amber Riley will be hitting the dance floor. So will Sharon Osbourne’s son Jack, former NFL wide receiver, Keyshawn Johnson, sexy songbird Christina Milian, and Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Last, but not least, King of Queens star, Leah Remini, who appeared via satellite from Los Angeles. She recently made headlines around the world for leaving the Church of Scientology.
The 12 celebrities will hit the dance floor when the new season premiere's September 16th.
