Super Bowl Week Takes Gabby Douglas On A Ride

INSIDE EDITION's special Super Bowl correspondent Gabby Douglas tries out the Times Square toboggan run and some gourmet game day food.

Gabby Douglas took her very first subway ride, the only way to travel in history's first Mass Transit Super Bowl. Super Bowl organizers are advising 85,000 spectators to use public transportation to get to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

INSIDE EDITION's Megan Alexander told Gabby, "We're taking a subway ride to Times Square now. Then, we're going to take a totally different kind of ride."

Gabby said, "That sounds like so much fun....I think."

Our special Super Bowl correspondent then went on a Super Slide. The crossroads of the world, Times Square, has been taken over by a Super Bowl-themed winter wonderland. A toboggan run is 60 feet tall,180 feet long and has eight lanes.

So, what's Super Bowl Sunday without a Super Bowl feast?

Gabby visited Fishtail restaurant on New York's Upper East Side, where celebrity chef David Burke showed her his five-star take on Super Bowl classics.

Burke said, "You develop a style, a signature. You got a signature move."

Gabby exclaimed, "That's totally like gymnastics!"

First up was barbecue chicken dumplings. Chef Burke combines chicken, barbecue sauce, jack cheese, and jalapeno. Then drops the mixture into wonton skins.

When Gabby tried filling the wonton skins, Burke said, "Not bad. I've done thousands."

Gabby noted, "You're a pro at this."

"It would be like me trying to do what you do," said Burke.

How about beer battered hot dog sliders? Chef Burke mixes beer and flour and dips in his kobe hot dogs.

Burke told Gabby, "I'm not recommending this is healthy, but for the Super Bowl, anything goes."

"Oh, it's good. I like to have my cheat days," Gabby admitted.

And Burke made traditional mac and cheese with bread crumbs, but adds pieces of roast chicken to make roast chicken mac n' cheese.

Trying all the dishes, Gabby said, "Thank you so much! I'm going to try all of this at home."

"It was nice to cook with you," Burke said.

"You too!"
