Bob Costas Remains Sidelined at Olympics From Pink Eye

For the second night in a row, Bob Costas is staying out of the Olympics broadcast chair while he recovers from pink eye. INSIDE EDITION has the latest update.
NBC's Winter Olympics coverage will have Matt Lauer as Primetime host for a second straight night.
Bob Costas still has pink eye so red and swollen that he can't appear on camera. He made a live phone call to the Today show for a second day.
"You're coming out of the bullpen again tonight, Matt," announced Costas.
Matt Lauer replied, "Yeah, I got the text a couple of minutes ago. I had to go in early, not to practice my lines, but to Lysol your whole dressing room."
The Daily Show's Jon Stewart had this reaction, "I told him before he left, I said, 'Bob, do not wash your face with the water.' "
