There was a surprising revelation today from the co-host of Nightline. Anchorman Dan Harris says he's used cocaine and ecstasy.
The 42-year-old journalist came clean Tuesday and also revealed he suffered an embarrassing on-air panic attack in 2004 when he appeared on Good Morning America.
"I was overtaken by a massive, irresistible blast of fear," Harris wrote on the ABC News blog. "It felt like the world was ending. My heart was thumping. I was gasping for air. I had pretty much lost the ability to speak."
News of Harris' drug use comes on the heels of 20/20 co-anchor Elizabeth Vargas' recent acknowledgement that she was an alcoholic.
Now, Harris is the latest high-profile news personality to publicly battle his demons.
