Mick Jagger's girlfriend, famed fashion designer and model L'Wren Scott, was found dead in her New York City apartment. INSIDE EDITION has the details.
Mick Jagger's girlfriend has committed suicide. Forty-seven-year-old fashion designer L'Wren Scott was found dead Monday morning in a luxury Manhattan apartment building. She had hung herself with a scarf according to published reports.
A spokesman for Jagger, who is currently on tour in Australia, told INSIDE EDITION that he is "completely shocked and devastated" by the news.
Scott was an in-demand model before becoming a designer. Her styles were a favorite among celebrities. The salmon-colored sheath dress Oprah Winfrey wore for the last episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2011 was designed by Scott. Michelle Obama is also a big fan.
In October 2011, Scott was a guest judge on Project Runway.
She had been dating the Rolling Stones front man on and off for 13 years. Now, her successful life has come to a shocking and tragic end.
Scott's body was found by her assistant. There was reportedly no suicide note or signs of foul play in the apartment.
