Chris Brown Breaks Down in Tears at BET Awards

Chris Brown broke down in tears at the BET awards during a heartfelt tribute to Michael Jackson.

Brown emerged onto the stage channelling the late pop idol, even moonwalking, just like Jackson. But when he sang Jackson's iconic song "Man in the Mirror", Brown got so wrapped up in his own emotions his voice began to crack.

At one point he went down to his knees, and the audience could see the tears fall to the floor as he wiped his face.

Later in the show, Brown returned to stage to apologize for his emotions overshadowing the Jackson tribute.

"I let you all down before but I won't do it again.  I promise," said Brown.
