Actress Sean Young Wanted by New York Police in Connection to Burglary
Surveillance video allegedly shows the 58-year-old breaking into a Queens office.
Troubled actress Sean Young is wanted for questioning by the New York Police Department in connection with a burglary, according to authorities.
Surveillance video reportedly captured the actress breaking into an office in Queens, accompanied by a man. They allegedly made off with $12,000 worth of laptop computers and video equipment.
The 58-year-old Young is probably best know for her appearance as an android in the original "Blade Runner" in 1982.
The 1980s star has had her share of public problems, including being sued by actor James Woods for harassment, who claimed she left bizarre items, including a headless doll, at his home. She denied the allegations and the suit was settled out of court. She has entered rehab twice and agreed to be a patient on VH1's "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew."
Young allegedly broke into the Queens office of a film in which she was to make her directorial debut, People magazine reported Friday. She was fired earlier this summer after clashing with producers, the magazine said, citing sources.
According to a producer, Young took two portable computers that contained production software, the magazine said.
“This was a big slap in my face. I try to help as much people as I can,” said comedian Greg Kritikos, the co-writer, star and a producer of the upcoming drama-comedy "Charlie Boy," which Young was initially hired to direct, People reported.
A spokesperson for Young said the incident was a misunderstanding.
