Amy Schumer Takes to Social Media to Tell People She's Pregnant, and to Vote
Amy Schumer uses Prince Harry and Meghan to reveal she's pregnant.
Actress and comedian Amy Schumer wants you to vote. And she wants you to know she's pregnant.
The Emmy winner announced she is expecting her first child, although the news was delivered in a roundabout way.
First, she posted on Instagram a photo of Prince Harry and Meghan, with the heads of herself and husband Chris Fischer superimposed on the royal's bodies.
A note instructs fans to visit the Instagram page of journalist and author Jessica Yellin and check out www.newsnotnoise.org.
There, at the bottom of long list of candidates the 37-year-old celebrity endorses, she wrote, "I'm pregnant."
Schumer, in a statement to the Los Angeles Times, said, "Chris and I are thrilled and almost positive he’s the father. I look forward to competing with Markle every step of the way,” she quipped, referencing the royal wife of Prince Harry. The couple just announced last week they were expecting their first child.
Schumer and Fischer were married in February. They did not say what their due date is.
