Neil deGrasse Tyson is the latest public figure to be hit with allegations of sexual misconduct, according to multiple reports.

Three women have accused the renowned astrophysicist of sexually inappropriate behavior. One woman claims Tyson allegedly drugged and raped her when they were both college students at the University of Texas at Austin.

Another said he made unwanted advances toward her while she worked as his assistant, eventually leading her to quit.

A third woman stated he “felt her up” at a party in 2009.

Both Fox and the National Geographic channel have stated they are investigating.

Tyson is scheduled to host his documentary series, “Cosmos,” in 2019.

In a statement the networks say in part, “We have only just become aware of the recent allegations regarding Neil deGrasse Tyson. We take these matters very seriously and we are reviewing recent reports.”

Tyson has not yet commented on the matter.
