British Man Wins $86 Million After Family Members Nag Him Into Checking Lotto Ticket

One in a million.
One in a million.
A British man realized he was $86 million richer, when he checked his ticket weeks after the drawing.
Andrew Clark tells Sky News the only reason why he even bothered to check the ticket was because his partner and her niece wouldn’t stop nagging him about it.
“It was something of a standing joke that I had all these tickets while there was a local prize outstanding, so for weeks they were on me to check,” he said.
Clark reluctantly went through the large pile of tickets in his van. A EuroMillions ticket hit the jackpot, worth $86 million USD.
“It almost feels like a Christmas story, the man who nearly lost [$86 million]!” Clark said.
It is the 12th biggest jackpot in the U.K.
