Canadian Car 'Thief' Steals Vehicle, Returns It With Full Tank of Gas

Oh, Canada.
Oh, Canada.
Earlier this week, a woman called Nova Scotia police and reported her car stolen.
She had been parked in a lot, right next to an identical vehicle, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
By the time she finished shopping, her car was gone. As it turns out, the man who took her car did so by mistake-- somehow his key managed to work on her vehicle.
Once he realized the mix up, he drove to a gas station and filled up the tank.
The woman reimbursed the ‘thief’ for the gas.
