Could You Be Living Near a High-Risk Sex Offender?
Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero tracked down a high-risk sex offender wanted by police.
Are you living across the street from a high-risk sex offender?
Matthew Lee Aiken was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child. At issue? He'd repeatedly failed to register his current address with the authorities, which is required of registered sex offenders, and police and the public had no idea where he was.
But as it turns out he was very active on Facebook and his posts led Inside Edition's Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero to Worcester, Massachusetts, where she tracked him down.
"Are you trying to hide the fact that you're a convicted sex offender?" Guerrero asked Aiken.
"No," Aiken replied.
